When you think of Milwaukee, one of the first things that comes to mind is…BEER!  Schlitz, Pabst, and Blatz are all names of popular beers that originated in Milwaukee.  But do you know the history of the families behind these names?  These “Beer Barons” will come to life again as we explore the era when Wisconsin Avenue was lined with mansions built on yeast and hops.

A guide from the Milwaukee Historical Society will lead our excursion around Milwaukee looking at homes and historic buildings significant to that era.  We’ll take you to some out of the way places you didn’t know existed, and make some fun stops associated with Milwaukee’s biggest export.  On board games, music and contests will make this a lively tour you won’t forget.

Coffee and Continental will be served as we get underway.  We’ll mix in a great themed lunch and some fun foodie stops all day.  Join us for a fun look back at the past!

Trip Notes:

• We are working in conjunction with Lamers and our destination partners to ensure that all health and safety standards are met to provide a safe travel environment on the motorcoach and throughout the day.

• The bus will arrive at the Park and Ride on Hoffman Road at 7:15 am.  We ask everyone to stay in/near their cars until the motorcoach arrives and you see your hosts.

• The bus will depart at 7:30 am and return approximately 6:45 pm.

• Two weeks prior to departure, you will receive a final itinerary for the day with complete details of the trip. Details will include any safety precautions needed on your part; a list of what to bring and wear; and any other things you will need to bring along to make the day complete.

• If any changes to the itinerary need to take place, we will notify you as soon as we are made aware of them. To make sure you get any updates, please make sure to provide us with your preferred email address and phone numbers so we can reach you promptly.

• We will also send out notifications via Mailchimp - so if you see notices from them, please accept them.

• We are making every effort to offer you all our usual amenities while sticking to the guidelines set forth by the state to ensure your safety while travelling with us.

• Remember to indicate your seat selection by consulting the chart under “Additional Information” above. Seats are assigned as orders come in, and the chart is updated weekly.

• Please let us know the names of your travel partners, along with any food allergies or intolerances on the registration form so we can accommodate accordingly.
