Last year we realized that if we really wanted to take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer at the Holidays we needed to make it a two-day adventure - so we did!

This year our adventure will take us to the Windy City for some great shopping, dining and more. The highlight will be attending the “One of a Kind Holiday Show” at “The Mart” (The Chicago Mercantile Mart).

Our holiday excursion begins when we board our deluxe Discovery Motorcoach. Guests will enjoy coffee and a light continental breakfast on board as we travel to our first stop in Kenosha. We will enjoy a wonderful shopping experience at Authentique followed by a fantastic holiday luncheon.

After lunch we’ll head for the state line and arrive at our hotel in Oakbrook - The Hyatt House Chicago - Oak Brook. The 3 year old Hyatt will be our headquarters for our shopping expedition. It is located just minutes from the fantastic Oak Brook Center. Anchored by Macy’s, Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus, with dozens of fantastic shops in between, you can shop for everyone on your holiday shopping list AND some special things for yourself too! After check in, guests will be on their own for shopping and dinner. We will shuttle guests to and from Oakbrook Center throughout the evening. With over 35 restaurants including The Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano’s, The Pour House and more there is sure to be something for everyone’s taste.

After a good nights’ sleep and breakfast at the hotel, put on your comfortable shoes and get ready for a big day of shopping. We’ll head downtown for an exclusive experience.

The “One of a Kind Holiday Show” at the Chicago Mercantile Mart connects over 500 outstanding artists, makers, and designers with thousands of shoppers who love art and handmade work. Entering its 22nd year, the One of a Kind Holiday Show is Chicago's premier holiday shopping destination! It is an exclusive experience, and we have all access to the full show. There are over 20 categories of vendors - this is the place where shop owners come to shop! You can buy direct from the vendors and get sneak peeks of all the great stuff you will see in stores next holiday season!

Guests will be on their own to shop and dine the show at their leisure. We will supply information about the show prior to arrival so you can come up with your game plan. In addition to shopping, there are several great restaurants in the Mercantile Mart you can enjoy.

The Mercantile Mart is one of the largest, and most historic buildings in Chicago. For the history of the building from the 1930’s through today visit their website at https://www.themart.com.

We will depart Chicago later in the afternoon, so we are back in Green Bay by early evening (return time TBD). Our package will include transportation, lodging, three meals, show admission, snacks, treats and holiday surprises!

Lodging

Our accommodations are at the new Hyatt House Chicago - Oak Brook. We have a variety of rooms reserved to accommodate our guests. All of them are priced the same, so you just need to let us know what room type you would like when you make your reservation. Photos of each room type are depicted in the photo gallery below.

Meals

Our tour includes three meals (2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch). We will also be serving coffee, beverages and some wonderful treats throughout the trip on our motorcoach. When you register, please note any food allergies or intolerances so we can provide appropriate substitutions for you throughout the trip. All meals will include tax and gratuity.

Pick Up Points

We will have two boarding options for our guests:

5:45 am Board Motorcoach at Discovery Tours (1139 Pennsylvania Avenue, Sheboygan)

6:00 am Departure from Discovery Tours

7:00 am Board Motorcoach at Park and Ride on Hoffman Road in Bellevue

7:30 am Departure from Green Bay

Registration

Registration for this trip is by check*. Because everything is being mailed in, you do not need to “checkout” on the website.

When mailing in your registration please provide the following:

1. Name, Address, Email, Phone Number you will be using during the trip

2. A check made out to “Fantastic Finds Food Tours”

3. The names of any travel companions you will be rooming with or sitting with on the coach

4. Your seating preference based on the seats available in the diagram below. Seats are assigned on a first come basis, so we cannot guarantee your first choice.

5. Where you would like to board the coach (Sheboygan or Green Bay)

6. Any other information we should know about to make your trip an amazing experience!

*If you would like to use your credit card to pay, please contact us directly so we can let you know what the service charge is on the transaction (darn those service fees!) and take your payment over the phone.

An initial confirmation will be sent to you when your payment is received. A final confirmation will be sent out closer to our departure with timing, what to pack, what to bring, etc. to help you prepare for the trip.
