A favorite fall trip is back with an ALL NEW show! China Lights returns to the Boerner Botanical Garden in Milwaukee and we will be there to enjoy it again. This popular festival is offering a brand new light show with a new theme for 2024. Last years’ show “Under the Sea” was spectacular with the music, motion and light displays of hundreds of hand-constructed lanterns.

This years’ trip will again include a dinner at Lychee Gardens, one of the oldest Chinese Restaurants in Milwaukee where the food is as fantastic as the festival. Our guest speaker, Tony Lam will again be back to cover a new topic in the Chinese History of Milwaukee. There is sure to be a special treat or two as well. This trips leaves a little later in the day due to the late return time.

Tour Notes:

We will meet at the Hoffman Road Park and Ride and will board the motorcoach at 1:30 for a 2:00 pm departure. We will return about 11 pm.

The tour includes transportation, admission to the festival, dinner and our speaker. We’ll also have some special trip-themed snacks and surprises along the way.
