Susan Beno takes you back in time to dining on the rails with this special class at the National Railroad Museum.
The National Railroad Museum is hosting a temporary exhibit featuring the largest collection of China used on the railroads throughout the last 200 years. If you saw the exhibit the first time, you know it was great. This is Part 2 with all new items on exhibit. In addition to touring the collection on a narrated tour, your day includes a cooking class with Susan featuring recipes from the rails that you can prepare at home. The railroads were known for their fabulous, freshly prepared food, and we'll highlight some of those recipes in a class at the museum amid the trains.
Class includes guided tour of the Railroad China Collection, cooking class, recipes, tasting and treats.
Note: No transportation provided for this class.
Class begins at 4:30 pm concluding at 7:00 pm
